Eileen Chang's novels described the secular life, the love of man and woman, her books showed a stable life, rarely involving war, politics and revolution. Although the limitation of subject matter, but the strokes but win support among the people inside, such as through a layer nuclear shell, exposed the fragility of human nature and dark. Subtle and embarrassing situation, warriors and relief, finally seems to point to the nothingness.
Three days ago I finished reading the book, feeling a lot…… Of all the love stories--whether in the form of films, short stories, play, etc -- One Day is among one of the Bests. At first I wanted to say "romance", since it is between Emma and Dexter, a man and a woman. but ultimately it is not just a book about 20-year long entangled love letters and epic dramas. Nevertheless it is a love story between a perfectly apt woman and a just as perfectly apt man.
【打廣告之三--he loves to sing but doesn't have a good voice】
“He loves to sing but doesn’t have a good voice.”
